I’d like to tell you why I strongly believe Encinitas City Councilmember Joy Lyndes is by far the best person to represent District 3, which includes Cardiff and part of New Encinitas.
And I’m inviting you to join us on Sunday, Aug. 7 from 2-4 p.m. for a Meet & Greet reception in support of Joy’s candidacy in this November’s election.

Joy was appointed to the Encinitas City Council after the passing of beloved Councilmember Jody Hubbard last year. She hit the ground running, helping the Council continue our forward momentum, serving the city with boundless positive energy.
She has made her mark as a capable and environmentally focused representative. Her professional background as a landscape architect and longtime community volunteer – serving on the Encinitas Historical Society board, as an Environmental Commissioner, and working to restore the Pacific View school site – prepared her to bring important values of conservation, environmentalism and community engagement to her service.
I’ve also been extremely impressed with her commitment to residents, helping people who find themselves stuck with a particular city problem that needs attention.
It’s so important that we choose leaders who share our values, specifically conservation and historic preservation, commitment to open space and habitat preservation, embracing inclusion and diversity, and helping those who are in need.

Please come to hear Joy describe her vision for the City of Encinitas and how she’ll represent your interests. She’ll be eager to answer any questions you have.
I’m convinced that a conversation with Joy Lyndes will give you a strong sense of this great and committed public servant, and why she deserves your vote. We’re lucky to have her!
I hope you’ll be there with us on August 7!
All-in for Joy,
