We did it! Our horse came in first!
Thanks to the fabulous group of supporters and volunteers who spread the word neighbor-to-neighbor and me, our victory shows that good old-fashioned, honest, positive campaigning can still win a City Council election.
I want to acknowledge the efforts of the other candidates, Julie Graboi, Alan Lerchbacker and Brian Ziegler, who all care about the city and influenced Encinitas’ campaign issues. They genuinely want the best for Encinitas and I hope they can continue to be part of the community of folks that positively affects our city.
Thank you for joining me on this political journey. Now the real work begins. We have much to tackle. I hope together we will continue to fight to preserve what we love about Encinitas, while enhancing our charming city to make it an even better place to live!
I plan to continue sending occasional email updates about the issues in Encinitas when my four-year term begins next month. If you prefer not to receive them please unsubscribe from my e-mail blasts. The Encinitas City Council meets three Wednesdays a month starting at 6 p.m., if you’re interested in watching the action.
Please drop yard signs at 1745 Rubenstein Drive, Cardiff. The kids’ school classes are going to re-purpose them.
Thank you again!
With a great sense of relief and a hefty dose of excitement,
