We’re closing in on the June primary, with voting starting in less than ONE MONTH!
I am dedicated to our shared goals of brightening California’s future by moving to renewable energy, improving transportation, helping small businesses, creating affordable housing, preventing gun violence, and more.
Now it’s time for me to respectfully ask for your help in getting the word out about our campaign for State Senate by helping us contact voters in person and by phone.
I’m going to turn it over to our amazing Volunteer Coordinator Matt Rubel (that’s him below), who can tell you more:
Canvassing for Catherine
11:00am, Saturday, April 16
McGee Park (258 Beech Ave, Carlsbad, CA 92008)
NO NEED TO REGISTER – COME ON DOWN!
“Greetings! We’re beginning our in-person outreach by gathering this weekend with Mayor Blakespear in Carlsbad village to launch our neighborhood canvassing program. We’re going to introduce voters to Catherine, tell them about her campaign for State Senate – and describe what she stands for.
Will you join us?
We’ve learned that voters outside of Encinitas aren’t as familiar with Catherine as you are, and we could really use your help to reach as many potential Blakespear fans as possible. The invitation to sign up for this weekend and other upcoming events this month is beneath Catherine’s signature at the end of this email.”
Thanks, Matt! Canvassing is a great way to make a real difference while meeting new friends and catching some sunshine – not to mention getting in a little gentle exercise!
Thank you for considering becoming a valuable member of Team Blakespear and helping me represent you in Sacramento! I hope to see you there this Saturday or at another event very soon.
