It’s been more than two months since I’ve written to you about my State Senate campaign, so now’s a good time to give you an end-of-summer update.
In a nutshell, things are going extraordinarily well, thanks to people like you! The amount of enthusiasm, goodwill, volunteer help, and financial support for the campaign has been beyond encouraging.
With the primary nine months away, I’m working hard to earn the support of voters across the district. The 36th Senate District serves more than a million people in 12 cities, which means there’s a lot of ground to cover. So we’ve put together a 12-city barnstorming tour for the fall to spend time in each city, listening to residents, and learning more about local issues.
If you have a suggestion of a place to visit in your city, or a group of people you’d like me to meet, please click here to let me know.
We can also get to know each other at any one of our upcoming fundraising receptions. Over the next few weeks, we’ve got events planned in San Clemente, Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, and San Juan Capistrano. These are great opportunities to meet your neighbors, learn about my campaign, and share your thoughts about the issues that matter to you. (See below for more details.)
I sincerely thank you for your interest in my campaign, and your support!
